WOOOO HOOO! I got accepted into the Miss Video Game contest! My friend Becky (Aktrez) told me about it a bit ago but it turns out my application had not gone thru. But now I am in. It should be lots of fun. I have NEVER done anything where I sollicited votes... so it is sorta wierd for me. But voting isn't until the end of December, so until then making videos and fun stuff are perfectly fine by me :) Oh ya! I made this one a while back. Actually Becky was going to use some of it in her gaming website but it never got put up yet and fits perfectly for the contest intro because she had asked me to give a sort of unusal reason why I game. So anyway- check it out here and digg me!

Waaaaa! No Gears of War today! Everyone is sold out or whatever. But I did get Guitar Hero 2. Wierd how you have to get the controller too. I know some incredible players- ogf which I am not one. There is just not enough hours in the day for all the games I want to play! Oh and In case I get caught up again, I wanted to write a quick entry about the fun night I had at The Topaz awards (Nov5). I wasn't sure of what to expect, but it was a ball. My agent & Morgan Fairchild received awards. My agent truly deserved it- she is like on every board possible related to film and Moragn was just gorgeous! Normally, it is a bit scary meeting stars in person because they often do not look so hot, but Morgan was beautiful. This is a shotty pic because it was with my phone so I'm not sure if you can tell but you'll have to take my word for it. morgan October 2006
Ok, so its been a while. I have been super swamped and now it is hard to even remember all I have done. I used to be really good at journaling but not so much now. Then again- I'm happy and busy, so the solace of writing it is not as crucial. However, to keep current for my 2 readers of this, I'll try to recall. I have been working on a film with Robert Rusler in an upcoming theatrical release film tentativly called "Agenda" by Azisa Pictures And guess what! I plays a hoochie in a bar. This is us worn out he is a real sweetheart. I'm glad I got to work with him. It has a super fun conspiracy theme to it and looks to be not only fun to make but also watch. We've been filming out of town & the schedule is sometimes a bit hectic, but the entire cast & crew were awesome to work with. I've been incredibly fortunate to have such fun crews.

Another fun group is Antstuie After alot of back and forth and various issues, Waldo's Hawaiian Holiday is now Texas Tale of Treason. Those were the coolest guys to work with! I loved Stuie's style of direction. He is a rocket scientists... no really he is. His direction style was innovatively left brain in comparison with what I have been exposed to. I loved it! But it seems that is finally wrapped.

In September I began working more for Okratron 5000 It has been a total blast with Christopher Sabat and Matt Piersall. They are the two studs on the ground being so so hot so so hot In addition to the VO and sound design studio for video games & cartoons, the do laptop DJ deathmatches and shows.
I've been to a few IDGA parties which is, of course always a hootnany. This one was Kreiner's surprise Bday party which really did actually surprise him. It was a super cool rooftop on the top of some downtown lofts. This is me & Duncan in the cool breezy patio me and Duncan I did a print ad, and a commercial for GGN for Becky who recently got a talk show on Sirius for maxim on Gaming.

I heard Inspector Mom is coming out on November 18 on the Lifetime channel, but I am not sure when my episode will show. They are doing the new mutli-media presentation where there will be some internet webisodes, regular station shows and who knows what else. Sorry no pics this time, but I will scrounge some up for the next time
Oh yeah- I knew I had done another little gig. I did a video for 1up click on the little tv screen, mom and the article was also graciously published on All PS2s Are Pink on the Inside.
And although I have been myspacing, I haven't been posting on youtube... I probably should hop on it & sometimes people post my stuff for me there- but Its already such a shock to actually work a regular (albeit no set hours ) job at the studio & full time acting. When I do have free time, I have had a bunch of fun in the last 2 months with Lego's Star Wars, just Cause, Dead Rising, tons of Samuri Warriors2 (despite the VO), and of course my daily resposibility to my DS Lite Nintendog Gretel this is my greteland that cursed Animal Crossing which I am still enslaved to even when I am dead tired before some shut eye at night.

Sandwiched in between Shooting at the crack of dawn for Inspector Mom with Danica and a few hours of sleep occassionally. I was having fun at Quake Con I'm the one in grey

I mustered enough energy to actually do a video and article which I will post really soon because it is being submitted this week. My hoarse voice and the clip in general should show you how much of a blast QuakeCon was this year. Of course, the best parts never seem to be caught on film- but that may be a good thing. I slept for 2 days straight after all that. Then started back to work.
Then I have been doing some projects with Oktratron 5000. Super fun guys... oh yeah- I interviewed Chris Sabat back on the first page of this blog : Sabat is a riot!

I have been going on some interviews because I am thinking I'd like to do more than just acting. I mean it is a great gig. I love it! But I like staying even busier than I laready am. I have had some fun people interested, so I will see how that turns out. I have also been getting into producing a bit more which I find alot of fun. hmmm. time will tell. Dang it! I ran out of time again! I am going to an IGDA party and have some stuff to do before that. I am certain I have left out a ton of stuff, but that is the highlights.

woo hoo my interview with Tommy Tallarico finally posted VGL Houston
July 27 2006
I got a principal role in the Lifetime series with Danica McKellar who I mentioned in the last blog. So this time almost all my scenes are with the ex Wonder Years Winnie. It is a fun role too, but I won't spoil it. I also finally wrapped on The Sadness Will Last Forever. The indie Vampire film I have been filming on for while now from time to time. the part wear i wear my vampire fangs. I edited the VGL footage and wrote an article on it.
I have done a commercial for an oil company and a commercial promo-ing a TVstation that will start showing the Jeffersons. That was a super silly one with some of us singing in the elevator. Noone ever sees my stuff- but I am sure everyone and their grandmother will see that... no shadow of a doubt there. I was super embarrassed when my agent called me and told me knowing I'd look like the total fool but realized it is not nearly as bad as doing an ad for Valtrex or any of those ones where you have to say really embarrassing stuff. So by comparison, mine seemed just silly and thats ok. It sorta fits.

I realized the other day that if I only blog once a month, I might forget alot of events. So I may try to do this a bit more frequently. This week was fun. I did some modeling, a commercial, and was in a film yesterday with Danica McKellar (Winnie from the wonder years)
she looks all of 2 weeks older than she did back then. She is so adorable & quite nice too. The show will be on Lifetime & is called Inspector Mom
. She plays a mom by day & a sleuth detective at night. I had auditioned for a french model past her prime, but they made me a regular model. I was with a girl who had just started modeling in real life and she didn't even know what "the Wonder Years" were. Oh Geez! I suddenly felt ancient.
I leave tomorrow to go to Tommy Tallarico's sold out production of Video Games Live www.videogameslive.com
I had run into Tommy at E3 while we were both trying to nab a few moments with CliffyB. I was shocked Tommy remembered meeting me in San Diego at Comic Con last year. So Becky Aktrez
Young hooked me up with some sweet VIP tickets & passes. I'll be going backstage & seeing how it is all done in co-operation with the Houston Symphony. It sounds super fun. I'll show you it as soon as I get it shot and edited.

June 2006
Finally getting my blog on!I have had a crazy month. Yeah I have worked like on a awesomely fun western film shooting in Austin called Six Gun and on a car commercial. However, there is no fun like cleaning the house. I did such a great job I video taped it because I knew it'd never be that showroom clean again. Besides that. I have been setting up shoots for a few upcoming events. I still don't have everything posted from E3, like reviewing Lost Planet, Crackdown, LOTR for the 360, well alot. However, some of my stuff got posted,
Here are some of the clips of me video hosting at E3 '06. JUST CLICK on the italic titles below:

Well, I have finally gotten a bit of time to update my webpage after eons.

Plus, I am finally starting to catch my breath after E3. Especially after my article was posted on digg.com (I got over 1200 diggs!) and was on Shacknews, Joystiq, Kotaku, and bunches more! I was so shocked & tickled to pieces. So here is the original piece if you want to see it.
my Booth babe article
I got to do an interview with the Levelord from Ritual and did a fun interview with Chris Sabat, the man behind the Dragon Ball Z voices,
Sabat is a riot!
I'll be lucky if I get to blog a lot, but I'll try super duper hard.
